What is the difference between colloid and suspension?

Colloid Suspension
Colloids are homogeneous mixtures of two or more substances.Suspensions are heterogeneous mixtures of two or more substances.
Colloids have extremely small particle sizes.Suspensions have larger particle sizes.
Colloids are stable and do not settle.Suspensions are unstable and settle over time.
Colloids show Tyndall effect.Suspensions do not show Tyndall effect.
Colloids have a higher viscosity.Suspensions have a lower viscosity compared to Colloids.
